Treaty of Utrecht is one of MasterPeace Founding Partners. The reason for this partnership is clear: the base assumptions (dialogue and connection), the focus on participation (everyone can join) and the tools (music, art, sports, social media and the International Day of Peace) of MasterPeace connect seamlessly with the DNA of Treaty of Utrecht. This initiative of the city and region Utrecht started in 2005. Since then it is the engine behind growing innovative movement of artists, scientists, companies, journalists and civilians who believe in connection, bridge building and the art of making peace in stead of exclusion, confrontation and violence.
Treaty of Utrecht strengthens the international reputation of Utrecht as a region of knowledge and culture. They have created an inspiring cultural program for 2013 (300 years after Treaty of Utrecht 1713) and 2018 that will have a lasting effect on the cultural infrastructure.
