“The Walls of Connection project was a platform where we had the space to dream and think together. We first started by creating a “peace club” of 30 students to plan the event and brainstorm on the design idea.

“We agreed on a design that symbolizes freedom through the most famous symbol of peace – a white dove – diving in a free sky. That is what the project is all about, seeing beyond the wall, as if there is no wall.

“Now I feel seen. That is the impression I carry with me. I feel my voice is heard, my creativity is visible and I am not alone. The lasting impact is not only the wall remaining a beautiful example of voicing our thoughts, but the peace clubs will also remain active to spread the message of tolerance and peace among our students.”
