This year the Africaday will again bring you a large variety of African culture. Attend a workshop Djembé or African dance by Lamin Touray. Cook African food in style with Anne Ayoo Owalla from African Style. Watch the impressive documentary Sarabah or enjoy a nice cup of Ethiopian coffee. At the end of the day Senegalese singer Sister Fa will give a spectacular performance.
This year's Africa Day has a new look. Besides the familiar program of workshops, lectures and debates, there is an ongoing program for which registration is not required: you can decide where you go.
MasterPeace will be present at 'ACT!markt' with a special ACTion. Look for the MasterPeacers in a MasterPeace tshirt and see how you can get involved.
The doors of The Hague University will be opened at 9.30 am to start the program of the Africa Day 2011!
Ben Knapen, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will be opening the Africa Day 2011 with a speech about the role of development after 2015.
At lunch, listen to an interview including Kasha Nabagesera (LGTB activist Uganda) and Esraa Abdelfattah (Egyptian Facebook activist) as agents of change.
