Students of Peace, and Suggestions for a Peace Walk
I'm in Castellon de la Plana, Spain, where the university offers a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution. I'm staying with students in the program whom I hope will teach me a thing or two about peacebuilding! Meanwhile, I am looking for suggestions on how to coordinate with other peace initiatives for a day's peace walk in Barcelona in three week's time. Any ideas?

If we are true to our humanity...
'Persist in the active pusuit of what is right and good, without thinking too much about the immediate results. Above all, don't underestimate the intrinsic force of a moral act. If we are true to our humanity, each such action, however small, changes the world.'

Setting off
I'm setting off with my daughter on Tuesday, the first of November, from Portalegre, Portugal.
I'll be carrying two petitions with me, which I hope to deliver, first to Khaled Mashaal, of Hamas, asking to renounce violence, and to use non-violent resistance; secondly to Dani Dayan, of the Yesha Council, asking to stop the building of settlements in Palestinian territory, and to recognize the autonomy of the Palestinian people.
