MasterPeace and Nudge announce their partnership for the second year in a row, as MasterPeace is the ‘Reward Partner’ for this year’s first Nudge Global Impact Award. The three Award winners will join the life-changing MasterPeace Leadership Walk through Maasailand in May 2018.

This partnership is a result of the commitment of both organizations towards creating  impact. Nudge and MasterPeace are proud that the 6 finalists (alumni of the 2016 Challenge) will be invited to join the Nudge Summit, the second eve of the Nudge Global Impact Challenge 2017 to pitch their Impact Projects. The jury will select the three winners of the first Nudge Global Impact Award, one in each of the following categories: social, environmental and technical innovation.

Aart Bos, Global Leadership, states MasterPeace’s commitment to inspire people for impact: “Our core activity is positivity. MasterPeace stands for inspiring people to use their talents and energy to create impact! You always have options and talents to develop. It’s up to you to contribute.”

Last year at the Nudge Summit, Nudge founder Jan van Betten announced a change in name and strategy of the competition for the leaders of the future: “Now in our seventh year, we see more and more tangible impact in what we accomplish with the Challenge and the projects and ideas it generates.”

MasterPeace also was the reward partner of the 2016 Nudge Global Impact Challenge. The three winners of this Challenge were awarded to go on a leadership trail at the heart of Maasailand Kenya. A leadership journey organized by MasterPeace Maasai Land for 3 years already, which brought tens of global leaders from different countries and backgrounds together with local Maasai warriors in an almost 140 km walk as a test of endurance, leadership and inner discovery.

This year’s Impact Challenge theme is based on the Sustainable Development Goals, which is relevant to the work of both organizations. Nudge is working on ‘nudging’ young leaders towards sustainable economics and the MasterPeace Clubs in 45+ countries around the world steer their projects and efforts towards achieving some of the goals. A special focus lies on SDG 4 (Education), SDG 11 (Cities) and SDG 16 (Peace & Security).
